PERF operates through three directorates delivering climate-resilient services across Tanzania.
R&I
The Research and Innovation directorate drives PERF's scientific work across Natural Resources Management, Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, and Resource Mobilisation — generating the evidence and innovations that underpin our field programmes.
Outreach
The Outreach and Extension directorate takes PERF's research and innovations to the field — engaging farmers, pastoralists and forest communities through extension services, demonstration sites, and last-mile advisory support.
Capacity
The Capacity Building directorate designs and delivers training programmes, farmer exchange visits, and strategic partnerships that amplify PERF's reach and impact across communities.
PERF has developed and submitted four project proposals targeting major funders including AGRA and IDRC, while also bidding for consultancy assignments to fund early operations.
PERF is developing a database of experts across agriculture, NRM, climate change, and related fields who can be engaged as the organisation grows its portfolio of projects and consultancies.
PERF is actively building strategic alliances with research institutions, academic universities, development organisations, and donors to amplify its reach and impact.
